I've been teaching at some of the best conferences since 2013. I've had the privilege of reading hundreds of manuscripts: from the first chapter, to the first fifty, to the entire manuscript.

When I work with a writer on their manuscript, my goal is to help them produce the best work possible. Specifically, I'm looking for story and how to make your story be true to your concept. I do not line edit. Instead, I focus on the elements of story: the arc, the character, the motivations, the story beats, the gaps, and the payoffs.
